Potash Feldspar
KAlSi₃O₈
High-potassium feldspar supplied for ceramic bodies, porcelain tiles, and glaze formulations requiring high-temperature vitrification.
Overview
Potash feldspar (orthoclase/microcline) is rich in K₂O and promotes higher-temperature vitrification in ceramic bodies, producing harder, more durable fired products. It is the preferred feldspar for porcelain tiles, electrical porcelain, and high-fired whitewares where fired translucency and strength are critical.
