Overview
Ferro chrome is a ferroalloy of chromium and iron and the primary source of chromium addition in stainless steel production, providing corrosion resistance, hardness, and heat resistance. High-carbon ferrochrome is used in stainless steel production while charge chrome is used in the integrated melting route.
